## Description
Enrichment of :sup:`14`\ C vs :sup:`12`\ C in dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC or TCARBN) compared to a reference standard usually VPDB. This ratio has been corrected for isotopic fractionation and is usually written as upper case delta Δ\ :sup:`14`\ C.
